Cake smash {Oshawa children's photographer}

OK, I am so excited about this latest session: The Cake Smash! Essentially a cake smash session is for babies turning one. We put them down on the floor with a cake in front of them... and then let the "smashing" begin!

I told "M" that I was only going to put one sneak peek of "E" up tonight, but I really couldn't help myself, there are just too many cute photos, so here are 3 out of the many that turned out great. I am definitely thinking storyboard with so many great images to work from.

maternity session

I had a blast with "L" shooting her maternity pictures!

I love newborns....

...especially when they come with adorable big brothers! I recently had a session with the "O" family and even though little "Z" wanted to stay awake to see what was going on, and big brother "K" wanted to play with toys we did get some great shots! Mom and Dad I am sure you will be pleased when you see your photos. Here is a sneak peek to hold you over until they are all ready :)

Twins!

I had the pleasure of photographing these gorgeous newborn twins the other day! Thank you so much L & A. I know that we were there a long time, but I hope that when you see the photos that it will have been worth it!

Information about viewing photos in the online gallery

Just a little info about viewing images online versus the final print. It always amazes me when I see my images on someone else's computer and I think... "Yikes that's not what it looked like on my monitor!" It is important to remember that images will usually look different from monitor to monitor. So that being said what you should be looking for when you are viewing your proofs are the expressions and general feel of the picture.

Don't get hung up on the details such as brightness and colour because this is always edited accordingly during the printing process. I work on a calibrated monitor and make sure that the final print has the proper levels of brightness and the correct colour!

Also keep in mind that the proofs have had a small amount of editing, but your print selections will receive a much more thorough edit before printing.

Birthday party/portrait party

Here are the first few photos from "E"'s birthday party on the weekend. I have about 5 families that I took photos of and will continue to post a couple of sneak peaks of each family as I have them ready.

These are for the "M" family. There are several more that will be posted in the client gallery of the main site when all the photos from the party have been processed.
