Twice in two days!! {Durham Region Newborn Photographer}

I'm so excited! I got to use my scale again today, this time with a beautiful baby girl. Now, I am posting a few photos from today's session to reassure Mom and Dad that we did indeed get some great shots, even though it seemed like baby "J" didn't want to cooperate. She just wasn't all that sleepy, but we certainly did manage to capture a few beautiful images while she snoozed for a brief time. Mom and Dad there will be more to come in your private gallery soon.

New prop {Durham Region Newborn Photographer}

Not too long ago I had my first antique shopping experience. It was so much more fun than I thought it would be. I had one thing on my mind...an old scale. Well after a few minutes in this great big barn full (and I mean FULL) of antiques I found this fabulous scale. Once I got it home I patiently waited for the perfect moment to use it, and I got my chance today. 6 day old baby "K" stopped by my studio today for some photos and I couldn't be happier with the way this one turned out. I'm so glad we got this image right at the beginning because baby "K" decided he really wasn't up for too many photos today! But I did manage to catch him smiling at me in another shot!! Thanks "C" for coming out today even though the weather wasn't exactly ideal for an outing with a newborn and his two big brothers.

Maternity Session {Durham Region Maternity Photographer}

You know how people say women "glow" when they are pregnant? This was definitely true of this gorgeous mommy-to-be! I had such a good time with this couple last week when they came out to the studio for their belly session. They were so cute together, and daddy-to-be was 100% involved in the session, even if he isn't in all the photos. I was pretty sure I was going to have to pay him an assistant fee for all the help he was giving. Hopefully the cookies were enough payment! Thanks so much C & S!
