Some of you have brought to my attention that you are not receiving newsletters even though you have signed up for them. One thing to note is that my newsletters go out approximately every 3 months, unless there is a current special going on and then a short e-blast will be sent out.
The second thing to note is that after you sign up you will receive a confirmation email, and you must click on the link in this email to complete your sign up. This applies only to those signing up here. For those of you that request to be signed up at your session (or by other means) your names are added directly to the list.
*If you aren't sure if your name is on the list just drop me a quick line at shelly@shellyfergusonphotography.com and I will double check for you.
**If you haven't signed up yet, what are you waiting for...newsletter subscribers are often the first to find out about latest news and of course any special promotions going on!
This little guy was so adorable, and just like most newborns I meet these days, he did make us work a little to get him sleepy :), but it was well worth the wait once he settled in for a comfy nap! There is just something about a peaceful sleeping baby...doesn't he just melt your heart?
*As a side note: We are quickly approaching the end of October and there are only a couple of session times left to get your Holiday Cards in time for, well, the holidays. If you were thinking about booking your Holiday Card Mini Session, please contact me asap so I can book you in.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting these two wonderful kids. Little "I" was as cute as a button and big brother "J" was a hoot to chat with. Such a smart little boy for 5 years old (uh, sorry I mean 5 and a quarter years old!) Of course the promise of being able to choose something from the treasure bucket at the end is always great incentive for the older kids to participate, and I have to say that a few cheerios goes a long way with the little ones!

...and this time the weather didn't cooperate! This was to be an outdoor portrait party, but it was so rainy and windy that we had no choice but to take the fun inside. Of course I think the kids still got a kick out of wearing hats and scarves indoors :)

I recently announced that Holiday Mini Sessions (see the original post here) were available for those of you that are interested in getting cards for the holiday season. I did promise some samples: here are just a few examples of some the cards available. Each 5x7 flat card can be customized with your own personal message and photo(s) on the front and/or back.
