Doesn't always have to be colour...| durham region maternity photographer

Colour is great, I love it and a good portion of my images are edited in colour. But sometimes it's fun to break away from the traditionnal and have a little fun with your images! Black and white is a good place to start. One of my recent clients expressed a interest in black and white images, so when I post their sneak peeks later today, they will all be black and white images (and they turned out so well!!)


It doesn't have to be black and white though. How about a vintage-seventies look to your photo? Sepia? Add slight yellow tone for some warmth, blue to cool it down. The possibilities are really endless. Don't just stop with the colour treatment either, adding texture can really make an image interesting. Here is an example of a standard colour image and a few variations of the same image...
