I wish I could post all of the photos from {I}'s session! As I say over and over again, babies are so different with each cake smash session and this little girl definitely wins the prize for the most expressions! She was too funny... I especially like the grumpy face she gave us... if she could speak I would imagine she is saying 'Stay away from MY cake!'

Miss {E} turns one! {Whitby Cake Smash Photography}

Shame on me for falling behind on the blogging again, but between photo sessions and trying to keep up with my kids the days are just flying by! And I must be a dedicated mama, because I have been spending an awful lot of time out in the cold and the rain these last couple of weeks supporting my daughter while she played soccer and ran cross country! It's always worth it though, I am so proud of both of my kids and all that they have accomplished :)

As a side note, October has been so busy that I just did not have enough session availabilities for all the inquiries I received... and I so hate turning away newborns :( Please, please, please if you are interested in a newborn session contact me while you are still pregnant to reserve your spot!


On to Miss {E}, so cute, LOVE her! And check out the gorgeous cake that {E}'s mama made. She wins the prize for the baby that actually ate the most of their cake smash cakes! Most just smash it up and play with it. Hope you enjoy!

5 weeks old..... {Oshawa Newborn Photography}

Forgive me for wanting to have a little fun today...but I just had to show this photo :) Newborn sessions are my favourite, but make no mistake, they are not always easy! Sometimes, especially when babies are a bit older like baby {B} we just have to be very patient to get what we want. He really wasn't too keen on this whole photo session thing and wasn't really afraid to let us know :) I actually really like this photo though because it's a true capture of what he was like at that moment in time and for me that's what photography is all about: capturing the moment as it is.

{B}'s Cake Smash.... {Port Perry Child Photographer}

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE cake smash sessions. They are so much fun and you never know what to expect from the little ones. There was a nice crown on the top of the cake with the #1 on it, but it took him about 0.7 seconds to take it off and break it up! Happy 1st Birthday {B}!!!

Baby {S}.... {Whitby Newborn Photographer}

Another beautiful babe.... I was very excited to meet baby {S} after having met his parents for their maternity session. Such a lovely couple...they are going to be wonderful parents. I was also very excited to finally get to use this fantastic hammock that my wonderful friend {S} knit for me. I have had it for a while but just haven't had the right opportunity to use it. Sometimes parents are a little nervous about hanging shots, but rest assured that the baby's safety is top priority! (I'll share a little secret with you: the babies are never lifted more that an inch or two above a soft cushy bean bag chair!)

Even got to use the diaper cover and newsboy beanie I crocheted last week :)
